Recommend it for Food Lovers
The food here is seriously dynamite! I mean, I had the thick sliced roast beef with Yorkshire pudding that was just beautifully cooked. I couldn’t even finish it all. The ploughman’s on our last night was a feast, the homemade smoked cheese was lovely, honestly, it’s the kind of meal you dream about.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but totally worth it.

Perfect stop for a cozy getaway
The pub had this charming, traditional vibe, with an open fire, exactly what you need after a cold, blustery day! I was also surprised by the quality of the breakfast. it was just fantastic! ! Fresh, tasty, and made me feel at home.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but honestly, for what you get, it's stilla fair price.

The room was bright and airy with thoughtful extras like bottled water and biscuits. A good selection of wine helped unwind after a long day.
Cleanliness was lacking in the corridors with a dirty-looking carpet and a general stale smell from cleaning products. The shower pressure was weak and water was lukewarm, making for an uncomfortable experience. Noise from the pub below carried into the room, disrupting peace, especially on Friday night.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
Our double room felt bright and airy. Staff were friendly, but the shower pressure was inconsistent, leading to a chilly experience. The pub's food was a highlight, with freshly prepared meals that complimented our stay. Be prepared for noise during busy hours. request a quieter room.

We had a wonderful stay, enjoying the charming atmosphere of a 17th-century inn. Our family room was both clean and comfortable, giving us the relaxation we needed after a day of exploring nearby attractions like the coast and local shopping options at Clarks Village. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the meals were so delicious that we decided to dine here every night of our visit.
There was some noise from the pub below during the evenings, which could be disruptive for light sleepers.

Breakfast offered a splendid continental selection, featuring croissants, fresh fruit, and local cheese, all beautifully presented. The friendliness of the staff truly enhanced the experience, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. while the room was generally tidy, a lingering smell from cleaning products was noted, which detracted from the overall comfort. noise from the pub below interfered with sleep, particularly on Friday night, so light sleepers might want to consider this.
